Looking out at the beautiful faces during circle time, it is amazing to reflect upon how much the children have grown this year. Each one of them has displayed new skills, new strengths, new confidence, and became an endearing part of our hearts in each month that passed. It all happened because of the love and care shown to them by this wonderful community that formed around them. Isn't hard to believe that most of us were strangers back in September? Now, as the remaining days are winding down for the school, we feel a sadness as well as an appreciation to be a part of the school for its last and final year. We are celebrating our final day of school on Tuesday, June 2nd from 10:00a.m. until Noon.
We will be having our last day picnic potluck at a nearby park at 10:00 until 12:00 with lunch following. =) The Board will have stations set up with summer fun activities! The children will have a chance to go around to the stations and play the various games. Parents will arrive around noon in which we will start our End of the Year Ceremony where the kids will receive their last gift at the Co-op. They will "cross over the bridge" to the days beyond the Co-op whether their road takes them to Kindergarten, another preschool, another state or even another country, they will always be able to look back on their days at the Cooperative Playschool and remember the joy it has brought them.
